How to Apply
The steps below outline the process for applying for enrollment at Star Academy.
1. Attend an Open House Presentation
We recommend, but do not require, that prospective parents attend one of our informational open house presentations. View open house dates.
2. Complete and Submit an Application Form
Parents of prospective students should complete an application form (and a scholarship form, if needed) and return it to Star Academy along with a non-refundable application fee of $150, student photo, and results of recent evaluative tests administered privately or by the student’s current school.

3. Parent Interview with Head of School
When requested by the parent or Head of School, prospective parents will be scheduled for an in-person interview with the Head of School and/or Admissions Director. (Please note that steps 2-6 are evaluative. Not all applicants are invited to proceed through all steps.)
4. Initial Student Visit
If appropriate, the prospective student is scheduled for an initial short visit to Star Academy.
5. Additional Student Visits
If appropriate, the prospective student is scheduled for additional (longer) school visits.
6. Admission Decision
A final admission decision will be made by the Head of School and a letter communicating that decision will be sent to prospective parents.
7. Family Decision and Deposit
Families of admitted students have 15 days after acceptance to submit a $3,000 non-refundable deposit and a $1,150 new student assessment fee if they wish to secure their student’s place in the class.
At the time of enrollment a multi-disciplinary team evaluates each student and formulates an individualized plan tailored to each student's developmental needs and learning styles.
