Admissions Overview
Star Academy enrolls approximately 65 - 70 students per year in our Bay Area special education program.
Current School Year Enrollment: If you are interested in enrolling your student for the Fall or mid school year, please contact admissions to inquire about classroom openings.
Admissions Process
Star Academy evaluates candidates for admission year round. There are no deadlines for applying. Admissions decisions take about six weeks from the date the application is received. Applicants will have 15 days from the date of an acceptance letter to reach a decision and secure their place in the class with a non-refundable tuition deposit.
Referrals
Referrals are not required to apply to Star Academy. Many students are admitted without referrals.
However, referrals can be helpful and may be made by educational consultants, public or private schools, pediatricians, mental health professionals, community agencies or by Star parents and alumni. The age range of students considered is 7 to 18. Please contact admissions to make a referral.
