Star Academy provides an intensive Bay Area special education programs for grades 1-12.
The focus of our program is to help students build the fundamental skills they need to lead productive, gratifying lives.

Program Highlights
For over 20 years, Star’s supportive environment, together with its comprehensive, individualized curriculum, has proven effective for students with learning differences. Features of the program include:
- Use of multi-sensory teaching methods and assistive technologies
- Small class sizes (up to 12 students per homeroom class)
- An extensive staff of highly trained specialists who work with students in one-on-one and small group sessions
- A curriculum individualized to each student’s needs and strengths and based on California frameworks
- A calm and nurturing environment highly supportive of students’ academic, social and emotional growth
