Middle School Teacher for Fall 2026

Candidates must have the following qualifications: 

• Clear California Mild/Moderate Disabilities Credential required and must meet CTC requirements for working with students on the Autism Spectrum.
• Undergraduate college degree.
• Experience working with students with learning differences in an educational setting.
• Experience with IEP documents and the IEP process Strong classroom management skills.
• Strong communication skills.

Duties of this teacher will include but may not be limited to:

• Writing evidence-based IEPs
• Participation in IEP team meetings
• Supervision of Assistant Teacher regarding classroom responsibilities, student
• monitoring and lesson plan implementation.
• Planning, preparing and delivering instructional materials that facilitate a positive and effective learning experience.
• Adapting teaching methods and materials to meet varying student needs and interests.
• Collaborating with specialists and other teachers to provide students with opportunities to observe, question and investigate while practicing a variety of academic and social skills.
• Supervising students during snack break, recess, lunch and transitions.
• Participating in full staff and team meetings.
